Helen Sinclair is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of BankWorks Trading and its business television network, BCN.tv (www.bcn.tv).
She spent her early career at The Bank of Nova Scotia in a variety of line and staff positions. From 1989 to 1996, she was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Bankers Association.
Ms. Sinclair is a Director of The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Risk Committee and Human Resources Committee), D+H Corporation (Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee), and EPCOR Utilities (Audit Committee and Human Resources Committee). She is a past director of a number of other corporations, including the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

In the not-for-profit sphere, Ms. Sinclair is member of the Board of the St. Michaels Hospital Foundation and its Capital Campaign Cabinet. She has served as Chair of the YMCA of Great Toronto, as a member of the GTA United Way Campaign Cabinet and as a member of the Board of Governors of York University.
She also has held board positions on a variety of public policy bodies, including the C.D. Howe Institute and the Public Policy Forum.
Ms. Sinclair holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hon. Economics) from Glendon College, York University, a Master of Arts (Economics) from the University of Toronto (1974), and has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. She is the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Acadia University.
