Martin Loeffler has been working with cybersecurity since the 1980s, when his public-access Unix site was broken into by long-distance phone hackers. Currently leading the information security and enterprise architecture practices for the University of Toronto, Loeffler comes from a background of information security consulting. His customers have included the Greater Toronto Airports Authority and various units within the Government of Ontario. A certified information systems security professional since 2000, Loeffler is also a certified information security manager and information systems auditor.
He received his bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Toronto, where he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in identity, security and privacy.
