Gaétan Houle is the National IT Security practice Leaderat EY. As part of his 28 years of experience in cyber security, he held several senior positions in the Federal Government, including Chief Engineer Communications Security at the National Defence Headquarters, Director Corporate Security with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Consul at the Canadian Embassy in Peru, following the 1997 hostage crisis.
In the private sector, he has worked as Chief Security Officer for several multinational corporations such as Bombardier Aerospace, the Airbus Group in Paris and Bell Canada, where he secured the telecommunications infrastructure for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Gaétan has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada, and an MBA with a concentration in cyber security with the Jones International University in Colorado. Gaétan is a Board member of Commissionaires du Québec.
